4 Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Fudgsicles

On scale from zero to Robb Stark, how hot is your laptop?

Oh no. Won’t she ever stop with all these bad Game of Thrones jokes? You’re not funny, gal,stop it – I hear you mutter as you roll your eyes once again.

Soon, my dear friends, soon. 

These fudgsicles don't get any easier or healthier!


 In the meantime, let me tell you that my laptop broke that scale and it’s now leaving second-degree burns in my tight. Which will soon become third-degree ones unless I’m done with this post soon and turn this thing off so let’s keep this post short and sweet today for the sake of my legs.

And what’s a girl to do when she has to spend most of her day sitting in a dark room because it’s way too hot to go outside?

a) Cry

b) Attempt to go running outside just to discover that humans can actually melt.

c) Fudgesicles and all things ice-cream

I wish I could say that c) is the right answer, but we all know that I’m guilty of doing them three – oooops.

These fudgsicles don't get any easier or healthier!

Anyway. When temperatures reach 381749823 degrees, the first thought which crosses my mind is “EAT ALL THE ICE CREAM!!!!”. But you guys know me and my hatred toward doing the dishes and waiting.

Making ice-cream = wait a day until the ice-cream maker bowl freezes + dirty bowls and spoons (LOTS OF SPOONS! A girl’s gotta try the mixture before it’s churned, right? For the sake of the recipe, you know) + wait wait wait for it to churn + clean all the spoons.

These fudgsicles don't get any easier or healthier!

And that, my friends, is the reason why you all need these fudgsicles in your life.

4 ingredients + a blender + 5 minutes of hands on time = bliss and happiness everywhere.

Super fudgy, chocolaty (no, they do not taste like avocado at all!), melt-in-your-mouth delicious pops. Which happen to be vegan & paleo too (that’s a translation for my sumer motto, “EAT ALL THE POPSICLES!”, duh).

These fudgsicles don't get any easier or healthier!

Get yourself a nice ripe avocado and a (big) handful of ripe dates now and go make these babies. You know you want one. And by one I mean seven, but you get the idea. I shall leave now before this thing in my tight evolves to one of those fourth-degree burns.

(Hint: do not look that up in Google to check how it’s spelled or you might cry. Not that it happened here or something……..)

4 Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Fudgsicles
Yields 4
Super fugy and chocolaty pops which happen to be vegan & paleo as well - bliss on a stick!

Ingredients
  1. 1 small avocado
  2. 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  3. 25 soft medjool dates
  4. 3/4 cup milk of choice (almond, cashew, hazelnut, oat, soy, dairy... all work)
Instructions
  1. Blend together avocado and dates until smooth.
  2. Add in cacao powder and blend until combined.
  3. Add in milk and blend until creamy.
  4. Pour mixture on popsicle molds and freeze until solid.
Notes
  1. These popsicles turn out delicious with just 4 ingredients, but you may add the following to make them even better if you want!
  2. -Vanilla extract
  3. -Cinnamon
  4. -Extra stevia (if you like things on the sweeter side!)
  5. -Instant coffee granules (to enhance the chocolate flavor!)

 Oh by the way, I just remembered that I haven’t told you whether I’ve been admitted into the university I want or not yet. That’s because I won’t know it until Friday next week, in case you were interested 😉

    I would like five of these please!! Those are the cutest popsicle molds. At first glance I thought you had put eight mini chocolate donuts on a popsicle stick, at which point I was super excited that you healthified mini chocolate donuts so that I could eat eight in one sitting! But then I realized they were fudgsicles and I was still super excited. Because, yum. I can’t believe how healthy these are! :)

    QUESTION! I am glad they don’t taste like avocado… but… do they taste like dates? It seems like so many dates to me, and I would want to make sure a “fudgey” taste is coming through, ya know? Thanks!

      Hi Kelsey! I absolutely adore dates so if they do, I haven’t noticed as I love that flavor haha. I don’t think they taste gross though??
      If anything, you can try melting about 2oz. of chocolate to make them even fudgier (I sometimes go that way and I love them too!). Hope I helped xxxx
