Or a ticket to the most delicious sweet & creamy summer paradise. Time to get yourself on a 5-minute (!!!!!) trip to iced drinks heaven everyone!
For real, now: these frapps? They’ll be your one true savior on the hottest of summer days. Grab an iced jar of the stuff while you sit by the pool, chilling in your bikini with no worries in mind whatsoever OR like me, you sit in a dark room trying not to die from the heatwave while you get lots of work done.
Whatever. Salted Caramel Frappucinos are bound to be awesome either way.
For the record, you know it’s been taking yeeeeeaaaaars to write a post (mm guilty) when you start it and you’re living in your very hot house in the center of very very very hot Spain and now you’re up north (safely writing with the laptop ON YOUR LAP without it burning your thighs) and the whole “let’s complain about how darn hot it is and how much work I’ve got to do” thing is pointless.
Who cares, HOLIDAYS!
Sitting pant-less in a dark corner, which is the only place where I get perfect wifi and I can plug my laptop and write at the same time, with an iced-tea on my hand and a dog barking in the street. It’s scary how much this looks like home… except for the fact that it’s not 34627836487234 degrees and I don’t have an easy access to cupcakes, which, I’m trying not to let it get to me but, it’s kinda ruining my holidays.
Good thing is that I do have easy access to these frappucinos. 3 Ingredients and 5 minutes of your time? Now you can have your iced beverage fix anywhere, and cheaper than a small country!
(((I’m looking at you Starbucks)))
Just coffee ice-cubes + your favourite milk (I’m partial to almond, yum!) + some Koco salted caramel powder and you’ve got yourself a drink which is delicious, super healthy (no refined sugar or nasties in sight!), vegan, gluten free and pretty much suitable for any allergies you can think of, since you can use any kind of milk you fancy. How good does that sound?
If you haven’t tried Koco hot chocolate powders, I’m afraid to tell you that you’re so missing out! Made from all natural ingredients, they take both your hot and iced chocolates to a whole new level of coconutty fabulousness. They’re so good that I might or might not have been eating them by the spoonful.
Let’s leave it all to guess 😉
- 100 ml. brewed coffee
- 400 ml. milk
- 3 tablespoons Koco salted caramel powder
- Freeze the coffee into cubes.
- Add the coffee cubes to a blender and pulse until ground.
- Add in milk and salted caramel powder and pulse until creamy.
- Enjoy cold!
- You can use any kind of milk and coffee you'd like.
- This drink is sweet enough for me, but feel free to add extra coconut sugar if you'd like it sweeter.
- If you cannot find Koco salted caramel powder (they ship worldwde though!) use a combination of cacao powder, coconut sugar and salt.
