Happy Smoothie (not) Saturday!!!
I was a tad too busy yesterday revising for my exams and whatnot, hence I didn’t get round to post this wonder of a drink. But fear not: you’ll only need 4 simple ingredients and a couple of minutes of your precious time (which, if you’re lucky enough not to be stuck in a dark room studying for midterms like some girl I know (me, ahem, poor me), you should be spending binge-watching some GoT to prepare yourself for what’s coming next week!!!!) to make it.
It’s that simple: juicy strawberries, creamy cashew butter, smooth cashew mylk and some coconut sugar if you fancy your smoothies on the sweeter side (I know I do!). Blend, top with extra goodness (pretty berries never hurt!) and enjoy!
Time to make the most of strawberry season with this simple recipe! If you don’t have cashews on hand, you can always resort to almonds/hazelnuts/or whatever nut floats your boat. All of them should taste lovely! I’m thinking that some peanuts would make this taste like a big glass of cold and creamy PB&J.
Aaaaaaaaand, as the world’s #1 peanut butter and jelly fan, that sounds like heaven on earth to me. Make yourself a favour and give this drink a go. Healthy, tasty and pretty: could you ask for more?
