Put your hands up in the air if you too are:

a) A very, very broke student

b) Who loves snacks with passion.

c) Vegan snacks, to be exact. Gelatin-free gummy bears anyone? Salted chocolate??? Give them all to me!!!

d) Also, cruelty-free make-up? I bet you love that too! (who wouldn’t)

I’m teaming up with the folks over at iHerb today to bring you one super special massive haul filled with amazing baking supplies which are usually super hard to find if you live outside the US, vegan make-up (also super difficult to find!) and some lovely snacks. All of it for less than 50$, how cool is that?

It makes me super happy that I recently discovered the wonders of iHerb, because I’d never ever seen another site or even supermarket carrying that big of a vegan products range (+4000 items!) at such affordable price. I gotta say, I was super nervous buying food online for the first time as I’ve heard a lot of scary stories about customs BUT all of my concerns were unfounded, because the parcel arrived within a week with absolutely no problem whatsoever. If you’re curious whether iHerb would ship to your country… chances are that – unless you live in a tiny house set up in the moon – they will, as they currently ship to +160 countries.

It should be also noted that iHerb is also a Google Trusted shop, so they’re able to solve any problem you might have in no time, providing customer services in 10 languages. I couldn’t be happier with my first experience, actually! So much that I actually placed a second order right before the first parcel arrived but… can you have too many snacks, really? (The answer is no)

Would you like to see everything I bought? More like you’d like to eat that chocolate, I know. Fear not, because I’ve attached links to everything on the haul so you can get your hands on it asap. I will mention that they’re affiliate links so it would mean a lot to this broke uni student (me me me) if you clicked them before placing your order, as it helps me get points that I can exchange for chocolate… and you see how wonderful that sounds, right? Thank you if you do!

Let’s see those snacks now!

1) Alter Eco salted chocolate & Alter Eco mint chocolate:

Um, where do I start? These chocolate bars were simply magical. M-A-G-I-C-A-L. I don’t know about you, but I’m a big fan of flavoured dark chocolate, so anything with a hint of mint, salt, chilli, rose, orange, etc… it’s a winner for me! These chocolate bars really hit the spot – smooth, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and made with all real ingredients – they were truly some of the best bars I’ve ever had. 100% recommend that you add them to your basket next time you’re shopping at iHerb.

Hint: this chocolate is probably the perfect topping for a Berry Chia Bowl

2) Now Foods Better Stevia English Toffee Liquid Sweetener:

I had been looking for this very sweetener for years!!! This stuff is impossible to get where I live, so you can imagine my delight when I finally found them at iHerb.

This liquid sweetener is a healthier way to sweeten everything from baked goods to your breakfast (toffee flavoured porridge? Sign me up!) with only a couple of drops, so it’s very cost-effective too. What’s not to love?

Try adding it to my vegan buttermilk pancakes recipe, this fabulous salted caramel ice-cream or simply a bowl of porridge. You’ll love the flavour!

3) Bell Plantation PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter:

This is another one of those things I had been looking for years!! Who wouldn’t want a lower-fat, yet still healthy peanut spread? Doesn’t adding a hint of peanut flavour to add of your dishes, sweet or savoury, sound amazing?? I know it does for me!! Watch this space for new recipes with it!

In the meantime, check out this Thai inspired peanut quinoa salad (which would work SO well with a bit of powdered peanut butter in the sauce) or add peanut powder to your porridge!

4) Rawmio Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans:

I love coffee and I love chocolate so when I saw these on the website I knew I had to get my hands on them. They won’t disappoint if you too love the bitterness of coffee (black coffee fans where u at!) but if you’re a fan of sweeter snacks, I’d say you’d better order some extra chocolate. There are so many brands to choose from anyway!

Personally, I loved these and I think they work super well as a smoothie bowl topping or mixed in your oats for some extra-crunch.

5) Celestial Seasonings Half and Half Iced Black Tea and Lemonade Cool Brew:

Who here doesn’t love iced tea?? I know I’m a big big fan! This is also one of those things which is hard to get where I live so I was super excited to try those sachets out. Spoiler alert: they do not disappoint. It might be winter and all that BUT I’m still up for some iced tea. Especially when it’s lemonade flavoured!

I can see these working well as part of some kind of boozy cocktails 😉 or mocktails maybe?

6) SurfSweets Sour Berry Bears:

Probably my favourite thing on the parcel – these were INCREDIBLE. Better than non-vegan sour gummies, I’d say (and I used to love those a lot) and made with natural stuff. I love these. I really do. 10000/100 recommend.

Now, let’s talk beauty products! Cheap, yet amazing beauty products, to be exact. Can it get any better? Sure it does, because they’re also free of all animal-derived products and not tested on animals either. It’s a win win situation for everyone, really!

Pay attention to these if you want to fill your beauty bag with some extra fancy stuff which won’t break the bank:

7) EcoTools Lash and Brows Groomer Brush:

I’m the proud owner of hands down the bushiest brows ever so having one of these in my make-up bag is a must. Do you know what the best part is? It’s like 1/4th of the price of all brow groomers I’ve ever come accross and still perfect quality!

8) Hurraw! Lip Balm (vanilla + chamomille scented & vanilla):

Do you know how much of a hard task finding a lip balm not made with beewax is??? That’s why it makes me so happy having found the Hurraw! range on iHerb, because they feel amazing on your lips, the scent is gorgeous and they’re pretty affordable – all while cruelty-free! Excuse me while I go buy all their range.

9) E.L.F Cosmetics Eye Bag Concealer and Highlighter:

I love this as it comes pretty handy to have both highlighter and concealer in the same bar. The qualiy is pretty great and the price couldn’t get any better! Your make-up bag needs it 😉

10) E.L.F Cosmetics Beautifully Bared Satin Lipstick in Touch of Berry:

I’m SO obsessed with this colour!!!! It looks gorgeous on the skin, lasts long and is also easy to apply. Can you ask for more?? I need to get the whole range too!

11) E.L.F Cosmetics Lip Primer & Plumper:

Another fabulous E.L.F find! The primer makes your lipstick last for hours and the plumper makes your lips look full and lovely! I love using the primer when I’m going for a bold look as it works great when applying a dark, matte lipstick; and I keep the plumper for natural looks. It looks amazing with a bit of lipgloss! Oh, and it smells great too!

12) E.L.F Cosmetics Pressed Powder in Porcelain:

Probably my new favourite make-up find. I love it so much that I bought it again when this parcel came hahaha. Really, it works perfectly for setting your make-up and make your skin look even. AND the best part is that I don’t look like a dorito because it’s clear enough to work well with super pale skins like mine. I really can’t believe this stuff is so cheap because it works miles better than other higher-end powders.

I really hope you guys decide to give iHerb a go! Their product range is amazing, and so are their prices. Plus, I’ve placed a couple of orders by now and haven’t had a single problem (I mean: parcels get here in a week only!!! From the US to Spain!! That’s super crazy!!). I AM IN LOVE. And I’m sure you guys will be as well.

Don’t hesitate to ask me if you have any doubts!
